similar work
I wanted to try something in a similar style but I was wondering what kind of pen/ink you use for your lineart.
Also, is that same ink able to be used with watercolor or does it run?
Thanks so much
The key is to make sure you are getting waterproof markers! (Prismacolor also has some fine tipped markers that are waterproof)
If you let the lines dry then you should be perfectly fine watercoloring over them : ) If it's starting to run then it's problably not a waterproof marker.

here's a link to the sakura pens
so to confirm, the sakura micron pens are waterproof when dry, yes?
The black line art was done with waterproof prismacolor fine line markers.
