I apologize that I flip the paper around so much 0_0 in the future I will have to tape the paper down to the table to something to stop myself xD

I love this piece so much!
I wanted to try something in a similar style but I was wondering what kind of pen/ink you use for your lineart.
Also, is that same ink able to be used with watercolor or does it run?
Thanks so much :)

All the lineart was done with sakura micron pens in sizes from .5-1
The key is to make sure you are getting waterproof markers! (Prismacolor also has some fine tipped markers that are waterproof)
If you let the lines dry then you should be perfectly fine watercoloring over them : ) If it's starting to run then it's problably not a waterproof marker.

thanks so much!
so to confirm, the sakura micron pens are waterproof when dry, yes?

Most of their pens are, some aren't. Under the pen specifics it should say waterproof somewhere, if it says that then they'll be fine when dry : D

There so much about this I like: the shape of the hair, the coloring, her expression, your overall style. If I may ask, what did you use to do the line art?

The black line art was done with waterproof prismacolor fine line markers.
